This research project on wearable light space is a critical examination of light sources worn on the body. It aims to research the gap between material related research in HCI and the application of light in garments used in costumes, fashion and safety wear.

By creating e-textiles composites, the relation between physical and intangible materials will be investigated and contributes to the field with the perspective of a textile and material designer. Properties of prototypes and material experience will be explored and evaluated.
